Abstract

A justified optimal set of suitable solar energy installations for various small-sized sea and river vessels, which consists of compact solar energy systems for various purposes. The evaluation of the technical and economic characteristics of the above- mentioned solar power plants was carried out. Their possible thermal and electrical power, both maximum and average daily in the summer period of the year, is determined. It is shown that the cost of complex solar energy installations will be significantly lower or comparable to similar indicators of energy devices identical in purpose, operating on traditional organic fuels, which makes them competitive with the latter
