Results of research indicators of electrical energy quality of dc voltage converters in the limit mode functioning

Abstract
The principles and methods for studying the energy parameters of modular-structure DC converters are analyzed using generalized mathematical models for calculating the RMS currents, power losses, and efficiency of step-down DC converters. Several main directions for researching the energy parameters of modular- structure step-down converters under boundary-mode operation are substantiated. The results of these studies are presented, revealing the particular features of the RMS current parameters of step-down DC converters under both single-phase and multi-phase conversion principles with boundary-mode operation.
