Abstract

The article proposes a method for calculating the quantitative ratio of the supporting forces acting on the hull of a high-speed vessel during movement. When developing the method, data from studies in towing tanks and computer programs AutoCAD and Dialog Statika were used. Also in this paper, a method is proposed for calculating the coordinates of the points of application of hydrostatic and hydrodynamic supporting forces. The value of the hydrostatic force is additionally calculated using the Peter du Cane formula. The article also considers an alternative method for processing ship inclining test data. This method of determining the position of the ship's center of gravity can be used to process inclining test data for ships with specific contour shapes. This approach can provide additional control over the correctness of calculations in non-standard cases.
