The aim of the scientific journal ”Herald of the Odesa National Maritime University” is to provide a platform for the dissemination of the results of contemporary scientific research, to promote the development of science, and to facilitate the implementation of new knowledge in the fields of maritime and inland water transport, shipbuilding, engineering, economics, hydraulic and civil engineering, as well as related disciplines.

The journal is included in the list of recognized scientific publications of Ukraine category "B" in which the results of dissertation research are published, highlighting its academic significance and compliance with national standards in the fields of science and education.

The scope of research corresponds to the cluster “Industrial and Construction Technologies, Logistics, Transport”, covering the following areas:

• G11 Mechanical Engineering (by specializations);
• J5 Maritime and Inland Water Transport;
• G19 Construction and Civil Engineering;
• G17 Architecture and Urban Planning;
• J8 Road Transport.

The main objectives of the journal are:

• to publish the results of original scientific research in the field of maritime transport and related areas;
• to promote the development of scientific schools and research directions related to the maritime industry;
• to ensure the exchange of scientific ideas among researchers, scholars, and practitioners;
• to disseminate modern achievements in science and technology;
• to improve the quality of scientific research through a peer-review process;
