Abstract

The paper considers the features of measuring the speed of an electric drive motor. Based on the analysis, a structural diagram and an algorithm for the operation of the device were developed, which allows measuring the engine speed using an optoelectronic speed sensor in transient processes by the method of direct counting of pulses of the sample frequency for a variable measurement period, which is determined by the number of protrusions on the speed sensor. An experimental study of such a device was also conducted when measuring changes in engine speed during transient starting processes.
